Although it was hoped that no fault divorce legislation would come into effect in autumn this year, it has now been confirmed that it will be April 2022. Although this is later than hoped, it is apparently so that court systems and IT can be updated. It’s good to finally have a fixed date in place though and I’m looking forward to being able to work with separating couples without the starting point being full of conflict.
